We are currently looking for a Assistant Personal Care Home Administrator to fill a full-time position in Rochester, PA. The Assistant KPCH Administrator is responsible for assistance in coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the Kohler Personal Care Home (KPCH) and provide supervision to the Personal Care Home Direct Support Professionals (DSP).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT PERSONAL CARE HOME ADMINISTRATOR:
- Assist with the administration and management of the home, including the health, safety and well-being of the residents, implementation of policies and procedures.
- Assist with providing personal care services or to supervise or to direct the work to provide personal care services.
- Apply knowledge of Chapter 2600 personal care home regulations and work toward compliance on a daily basis.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain or supervise the maintenance of financial and other individual records.
- The assistant administrator shall be free from medical condition, including drug or alcohol addiction, that would limit the administrator from performing duties with reasonable skill and safety.
- Assist to provide direct supervision, staff training and performance evaluations
- Coordinate staff scheduling for the Direct Support Professionals, including report offs/call offs.
- Coordinate and develop appropriate residential policies and procedures.
- Complete attendance/payroll records for residential staff.
- Support on-call needs for emergencies and provide residential coverage as needed.
- Coordinate replacement/purchasing of all household items within the program budget.
- Oversee KPCH physical site, recommending changes and improvements, coordinating cleaning, repairs and general up-keep.
- Other duties as assigned by the KPCH Administrator.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE ASSISTANT PERSONAL CARE HOME ADMINISTRATOR:
- A license as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Department of State and 1 year of work experience in a related field.
- For a home serving 8 or fewer residents, a general education development diploma or high school diploma and 2 years direct care or administrative experience in the human services field
- A license as a nursing home administrator from the Department of State.
- 21 years of age or older, required.
- Valid PA Driver's license, required.
